Type HGM-B composite brake shoe for freight train has high coefficient friction, it is composed of two parts: steel backbone and compound materials, there is a heat radiation groove in the middle of brake shoe.
Steel Supporter – it is made of steel sheet with more than 4mm thickness(Q235-A, GB/T 700).The outside radius of steel supporter is R450mm with 8 φ16mm stamped holes.
Composite Materials – it is the brake shoe’s friction entity, when brake shoe is working, it directly touch the wheel surface and raise friction force. It is mainly composed of rubber and resin, as well as few friction regulating preparation and filling materials. Its appearance is somber black.
Radiating Groove – Its function is heat radiation and drain contamination, at the same time, it also can meet the working condition of wheel tread arch.
Type HGM-B HIGH friction composite brake shoe is mainly used for 120km/h weight train with axle loading of 25t. Compared with other brake shoes, it owns better braking and friction stable performance, as well as good anti-friction performance. It has no heat split damage on the wheel tread, it is light and its lifetime is long. Besides, it can meet the environment protection requirement because it doesn’t include any lead and asbestos.
1）、Max. dimension is 352mm length, 86mm wide, 45mm thick. This type of brake shoe can be used for train wheel of diameter 840m.
2）、Physical, dynamical performance, and braking friction performance can meet the type H brake shoe’s requirement of TB/T 2403-2010 Railway Weight Train Compound Brake Shoe.
3）、Cohesion strength can meet the requirement of TB/T 2403-2010.
