Successful Case: Wuhan – Yichang RailwayType V fastener system for ballast railway’s sleeper with concrete shoulder, the fastener system is composed of screw spike, flat gasket, clips(W2 type, X3 type and A type), gauge guide plate, under rail plate(rubber pad and composite plate) and pre-inset iron shoulder with pre-stressing force concrete shoulder. The height adjustment of steel rail can be achieved with height adjustable pad.Type V fastener system is used for 60kg/m steel rail high speed ballast track:
1）Design for 350km/h high speed railway with Max. axle loading 170kN;
2）Design for 250km/h high speed railway with Max. axle loading 170KN, alternative for conventional passenger train with loco Max. bear weight 230kN, as well as few weight train with Max. axle loading 230KN.
1）、Clamping force per rail seat≥20KN, small resistance configuration clamping force≥7kN
2）、Each rail seat’s longitudinal resistance is more than 9KN, small resistance steel rail configuration longitudinal resistance is 4kN;
3）、Fastener system should be in good condition after bearing 3 million times loading circulation, the gauge expansion should be less than 6mm;
4）、System elasticity: Rubber plate static rigidity is 60 kN/mm（±10 kN/mm）)
5）、Gauge insulated electric resistance should be bigger than 3 Ω•km, meeting the insulated electric resistance requirement of track circuit.
6）、Fastener passes the 300h corrosion test under the regulation of EN 13146-6, it can be dismantled by manual tools.
7）、Single rail left-right adjustment: －4～＋2 mm，gauge adjustment：－8～＋4 mm;
Steel rail height adjustment variation: 10mm
8）、Pre-inset iron shoulder anti-pulling strength should no less than 100kN.
